Before They Were Oscar Nominees

infoMania
Before Angelina Jolie was in 'Changeling,' before Sean Penn was in 'Milk,' and before Frank Langella was in 'Frost/Nixon,' they all had roles in other movies. We salute their earlier, less-critically acclaimed work in an Academy Awards edition of 'Seeds of Greatness.'

infoMania is a half-hour satirical news show that airs on Current TV. The show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. Hosted by Conor Knighton and co-starring Brett Erlich, Sarah Haskins, Ben Hoffman, and Sergio Cilli, the show airs on Thursdays at 10 pm Eastern and Pacific Times and can be found online at current.com/infomania. • According to iMDB, these were the box office gross from the movies it made:
Masters of the Universe (1987, not 1985): $17,336,370 (cost $22m to make)
      Hackers: $7,564,000
Fast Times at Ridgemont High: $27,092,880 (cost $4.5m to make)

    • The major difference between these films/roles is that Spicoli has become an iconic character in a classic film.

    • Did Angelina Jolie get plastic surgery or something to make her face more angular? She used to be much more attractive, and I don't think it was merely her youth...

    • I loved this!! though I would've saved Frank Langella as Skeletor for last, as it was the funniest, but that's just my opinion
