This woman is full of shit! I'm not even sure she is old enough to have been part of the old Soviet education system that was much better than ours. The interviewer is typical of his ilk he just want to be in the parade so bad he doesn't mind carrying a broom behind the elephants as long as he gets to be in on it! Howard Stern invented this kind of self prophecy bravado and he's been copied by so many it is not funny. Including the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly! Howard claimed he had 20 million listeners before he ever did. But he did get there unlike the right wingers who quote that number but no one in the right wing echo machine that calls itself media ever checks it out. Arbitron does radio ratings and they send out diaries that have to be filled out which is like going back to the horse and buggy. The internet has no such ratings tools and hits can often be self generated and are almost always exaggerated. Again I checked all that nonsense about "Boobs" on Google and jack shit comes up! Repeat Jack Shit and I did that check today and when this story first came out last year ! But hey it is all part of "reality" TV and it sucks! Make believe BS and guys like you buy into it shame on you don't you have any mental capacity?

She's making money because of her body. Women can make money with their bodies in a variety of different ways. This woman merely chose to go down a different path to making money with her body. Besides having a very condescending posture, attitude, facial expressions, etc. . . . he called her a PROSTITUTE, and then read some of the most vulgar emails one could get away with. If you don't think his prostitute comment was rude then look at her facial reaction afterwards. Completely unprofessional.

Now, if you're going to quote me, than it's: "she came across quite articulate and intelligent" I never heard of her before this interview, but she appears to be both articulate and intelligent.

Here is a self made businesswoman that used her TWO philology degrees and her feminine charm in a way that makes her the most money possible. That doesn't make her unintelligent at all, in my opinion that's evidence to the contrary.

She also came across "articulately" by answering her questions in a very clear and matter of fact manner. She does this despite having her interview fragmented with scenes of her "acting" dumb for her podcast performances.

The entire interview was fabricated in a way to make her look terrible (even the title and initial picture). Bill O'Rielly, although being a sleezeball, gives her much more professional courtesy in his interviews.

And when Fox News does a better job than CurrentTV . . . holy sh!t.

Ben has done it again! Not only did he provide the mosts insightful, thought provoking and entertaining look at this incredible cewebrity - he also solved the mystery of my education for me . . .my teachers were ugly too, and none of them put any effort into titillating or arousing me at all. Education in this country is in shambles, and I think it's time that our so called "teachers" care about their students, learn from Marina and "Put 'em on the glass" so that our children have a chance at being competitive in the global marketplace.

I have been a fan of Marina's since she started but what I have always found sad was that a lot of people think it has to be ONLY one thing or the other.

That she is ONLY sexy and can't be intelligent also or that people are ONLY watching because she is hot and not for the lessons also.

Who says people can't enjoy both? It is not JUST that she is good looking but she also makes her videos entertaining in the way she presents the word origins.

She doesn't JUST use her boobs to attract viewers but also interacts with her audience by taking video requests for words to illustrate the origin of, mentioning viewers as teachers pets and giving homework to get people to comment.

All of the interviews I've seen (which have been several including this one) ONLY focus on the shallow fact of her popularity due to her good looks and miss all the other aspects of value in her videos.

The fact that she does all the writing, acting and editing to make a very professional lesson is most offen overlooked.
