    • Humm... I think I have an idea on why the BBC America puts on those very odd shows...There trying to appeal to the American people....and American T.V has a lot of crap.......though I think they went jjjjjjuuust a little to far with people having fake baby's, and the girl who is flat....and yeah all the shows to be honest.

BBC America also shows Dragon's Den, How Clean is Your House, Doctor Who, Ashes to Ashes, World News, and little documentaries by Louis Theroux -- which seem equally bizarre, but they usually take place in the U.S.?

    • The "Barack Sploitation" segment of Knighton's InfoMania program this week (March 19, 2009) featuring "Barack Fingers" fried chicken is highly offensive. I was taken aback. As I was enjoying the well put together, very professional show, this humorously designed, extremely racist "commercial break" appears out of nowhere in complete discord with the current topics. Why would Current air such a highly racist 30 sec segment like this?

I wish racism were a thing of the past, but it's not. Your show reminded me again today. By the way, black americans watch your show. Well, at least we used to.

Also, acknowledging that you are exploiting people who happen to be black, as you clearly do with the title of the segment, does not give you moral authority to create such an offense.

you missed the point, friend. it's called Barack Sploitation for a reason. look up some of the other clips of the Barack Sploitation series and maybe you'll catch on.

in the mean time, enhance your calm.

    • Mr Knighton, no, I will not "follow" you on twitter.

Call me old fashioned, but I still like to stalk my celebrities on foot.

Gosh, that brings me back to the good old days, going to nice places, seeing the celebrities, trying to introduce yourself to them, living in a bush outside their home for days in hopes of obtaining some underwear or some other object that touches them frequently... (sigh) good times.

    • Great segment about BBC America however most of the shows are from other channels like Channel 4,Five and Sky1. There are also nine different BBC channels in the UK paid by a tv license fee.

I've seen the fake baby episode TWICE. Bam!

And the one about sugar mamas. AND the one about trangendered teens. And the one about 35-year old grandmothers. What can I say? Between the documentaries and old episodes of "Dragon's Den," BBC America is the best thing on television.

P.S. I thought the series was originally called "Taboo" but maybe it wasn't.

    • Amazing show as always, mind you in the UK, we do have nine BBC channels, which includes the recently launched BBC Alba (Scottish Gaelic TV station - oh and Alba stands for Scotland).
