Target Women is a recurring segment on Current TV's weekly television show, infoMania. In each episode of Target Women, Sarah Haskins takes a look at the often-ridiculous way the media reaches out to women.

    • A great critique of the ridiculousness of the "bare arms" controversy and the fact that unfortunately, the job of "first lady" can often become (in the public eye) just about being the president's wife, when many of our first ladies have been politicians or activists (or in Michelle's case--both) themselves!

      Mrs Eisenhower wore a dress with bare arms when the queen of England came to dinner at the white house, and no one freaked out like they are doing now. So these people who don't want her to show her arms are just full of elephant dung.

    • I never realized how much of a bad ass Sarah can be! Sleeveless or not does it really matter if she even wheres anything at all?(both Michelle & Sarah) I don't think think people care too much that she is sleeveless! Jackie Kenedy did the sleeveless look & it worked great for her!

      This kind of reminds me of the time I saw some of my relatives after graduating college and the first thing they said to me was, " Wow you lost a lot of weight!"
