This week on infoMania Brett Michaels gets floored at the Tony Awards. Sherri Shepherd talks anatomy on 'The View.' Heidi and Spencer get all, like, spiritual in the jungle. Spike TV uses science, history, and stupid-ness to determine the Deadliest Warrior of all time. Sarah Haskins wonders why best friends in commercials are always trying to sell each other stuff. Sergio
Cilli checks out the most popular music videos on iTunes. And Brett Erlich enjoys the great outdoors vicariously.

infoMania is a half-hour satirical news show that airs on Current TV. The show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. Hosted by Conor Knighton and co-starring Brett Erlich, Sarah Haskins, Ben Hoffman, and Sergio Cilli, the show airs on Thursdays at 10 pm Eastern and Pacific Times and can be found online at http://current.com/infomania/ or on Current TV. And make sure to check out our facebook profile for special features at http://infomaniafacebook.com.

    • The end segment was brilliant. I feel bad about laughing so much at all the blindsided, but then I feel good too. Life's a complex proposition. Good wins though.

    • White Hot Top 5: I can't take any more of you being forced to talk about shitty songs and it sucks that there are too few top playlists of GOOD songs with videos. However, I don't like when you make your own lists because you include stupid curveball songs that aren't cool either. I want to hear music like MGMT or rage or classic rock or reggae or anything not for tweens, country, or popular 'alternative' bullshit. Maybe poll infomania watchers as your end bit with the feedback email. I don't know what the best solution is, but something has got to change.
      Best.

I think you're missing the point about White Hot Top 5. Even the name makes it pretty obvious that it's about the whole absurdity of Top # lists. No matter what criteria you select--best sellers, most listens, etc--the results are ridiculous. If you want to see more lists like the ones you mentioned, open iTunes and select your most played playlist or log on to Pandora. I don't want to sound like a hippie--but free your mind, maaaaan. If you want "good" music, make your own damn list.

    • I am extremely tempted to move to LA in an attempt to marry Conor. Oh well, too bad I despise LA.

Great show, but I'm sure you already knew that. Ah! Sarah, you're amazing!!!
