Charlie Brooker talked about "Deadliest Warrior" on his new panel show "You Have Been Watching..." over in the UK, and you should've heard the audience reaction when the "Taliban vs. IRA" opening sequence was played...
Also, my Dad thought "Deadliest Warrior" was a bit sad...

"Uhhh I'm pretty sure that's the opposite of a paramedic's job" LMAO
Deadliest Warrior sounded kinda cool until the scenes with all the nasty dead pigness in them, bleagh. Then, when the inter-expert trash-talking begins, you realize: oh, they're just a bunch of nerdyass history majors/sword collectors/LARPers who tricked someone into paying for a hobby that would have otherwise only gotten attention at D&D night when their expert knowledge of weaponry lets them settle a dispute about whether picking a lock with a dagger is a plausible move or something. Gotcha.
Freaking Spike TV.

Deadliest Warrior is an illegitimate program. It claims to use scientific methods to determine which warrior is best. But we all know that they do nothing but make it entertaining. When you watch this show, be sure to close your mind as I guarantee you, you will get dumber as you progress through the show.
edit: im glad infomania also noticed the so called scientific process of the magical excel spreadsheet.

I thought this show was going to so amazing and then when I noticed it was on Spike...
Has anyone realized that Spike TV is just one collective car crash that is too horrible to look away from?

I hope they at least eat those mutilated pig corpses. And I hope that when they do they choke on their ninja stars and other assorted debris.
