    • ok so, 1st i`m gonna call 911, why? .. a.. i`m bored. i think i`m gonna ask them on the phone if they play solitaire on work, while they don`t have any calls..
      and a..2nd.. that cop was awsome..or was it operator? .. the one with.. " so do you want us to come down there and shoot him?" ..

    • ok this was funny however i think the callers should get a fine or something, you can't have people calling 911 for silly things like that...think before you call and consider the real people that need to use this service/life line

    • lol, Then there is the opposite: the dispatcher that has No business being an emergency operator.

      I called 911 for a medical emergency for a family member and the female dispatcher said: "Well you know, 911 calls are now routed through the CHP (California Highway Patrol) office here so..."
      I was like: Well, ok, what am I supposed to do, can you please transfer me to the EMTs?
      911: "Oh, yeah this is THE RIGHT NUMBER, but just so you know - the calls are being routed through our office then we transfer it to the medical people..."
      Etc... I called the next day to explain that while I appreciated her explanation of call routing procedure, this may not be important information if you are simply supposed to transfer the call. Thank goodness I wasn't panicked, because wtf?!
