The show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. Nicely done. Especially the Levis ad. I used to hate that ad before I saw the gay version, which is almost identical but somehow way better. And I've always loved that Quiznos ad- the HAL 9000 toaster. But is it still gay if it's an inanimate object?

I love this conspiracy to quietly slip some gay in the mainstream commercials. And I believe in it!
To my horror, I found myself actually watching MTV once, and more than once, I saw this ad of a man and a woman getting ready, presumably to see each other. And in the final moment of them walking toward each other they... walk towards other beautiful people of the same sex and start making out. To sell... perfume, I think? That was definitely not quietly.

I think that "slipping" homosexuality into mainstream media is as much of a problem as mainstream media using homosexuality as a punch line. They both pander to the public's homophobia, and the idea that there is a homosexual "conspiracy" or agenda.
That one would have to look hard for gay representation is a humiliating act. It should be much more vivid.
