fascinating. What plugins do you have loaded? I'm wondering if perhaps noscript is the culprit. A selective script blocker plugin is needed for secure use of firefox though so one would hope that is not the problem.
I started turning off extensions till it worked. Seems adblock plus was doing it.

Hi,
I noticed a couple of your comments referring to issues you are having viewing videos on site.
Infomania videos are definitely compatible with Macs + Firefox. You will simply need to disable ad block/ad block plus to watch these items, as they treat our player (and its content) as if it were an ad.

I was playing around and apparently you don't even need to disable it. You just mark adblock+ to allow current.com and you're golden,
