That's Gay: Gayngels

bryan_safi
It's a well-known fact that when you need help fast, a gay guy magically appears to make everything better. Bryan Safi explains this supernatural phenomenon in this week's That's Gay.

That's Gay is a recurring segment on the weekly television show infoMania. In each episode of That's Gay, Bryan Safi explores gay issues and stereotypes as they are portrayed by the clueless media. For more Bryan visit http://current.com/groups/thats-gay/ and Current TV.

infoMania is a half-hour satirical news show that airs on Current TV. The show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. Hosted by Conor Knighton and co-starring Brett Erlich, Sarah Haskins, Ben Hoffman, Bryan Safi and Sergio Cilli, the show airs on Thursdays at 10 pm Eastern and Pacific Times and can be found online at http://current.com/infomania/ or on Current TV. I think you're confusing cisgender men who are gay with transgender women (of any orientation.) A gay man is a man who loves other men, not a woman who has had male-to-female sexual reassignment surgery.

    • Because if we can be gay and still be positive, then those blubbering breeders have no excuse to remain unhappy.

      I hate [most] scriptwriters.

    • You had me up to the end. Was it really necessary to imply that there's something gross about a woman's body?
Speaking as a bi woman who lives in the gayest neighborhood in America (the Castro in San Francisco), I think it's a stereotype that gay men are horrified by women's bodies and want to disparage them. I know plenty of gay men who aren't and don't. Just because you don't want to have sex with women doesn't mean that you have to express your disgust with some part of a woman's body.
I think you're hilarious, and I think you're smarter than that punchline. That kind of humor is so last century.

Yet I'm sure if a lesbian or a straight guy talked about how gross they found penises no one would be complaining.

The vagina in and of itself isn't disgusting but to most gay men LICKING one is. I'm sorry if you can't deal with the fact that some men are not sexually attracted to you but that's the reality of sexual orientation.

Acedia, I'm pretty calm, but thanks for your concern. I don't understand this satire comment. Are you suggesting he's being sarcastic, and that he actually loves having sex with women? I doubt it, because if that was the case, he'd be bi (or straight).
Johnnywonkadepp, I don't know why you think I "can't deal" with gay men's lack of attraction to women. I'm fine with that, in fact I think sexual orientation variety is the spice of life. I took issue with the fact that he was disparaging women's bodies, which I felt was unnecessary and un-called-for.
In terms of people complaining about straight men and lesbians who don't like penises, I'm sure there are plenty of people who complain about that, don't worry! LOL!

    • Mean Girls also had a nice Gay Ex Machina dance scene at the end. Perhaps this is the real reason straight america keeps hating on gay marriage - cause if teh gayz had legally recognized relationships of their own, there'd be no dance-partners for post-breakup het chicks oMG!

      *shakes his head in disbelief*

God hates you, akingu. Every disgusting part of your sad sad soul, bound for hell because of your hateful and sinful ways.

See, doesn't feel so good, does it?

Hate is a useless, petty, HUMAN emotion. Why in the world would God need to hate anyone, and why would be make people that way, if he knew t would condemn them to hell? Think about it. I'm probably asking too much.

hmmm... how does a comedic segment about homo/heterosexual interactions = child-molesting faggots? I might be mistaken, but I think you should never watch anything on Current ever again for fear it may, God forbid, make you a little more open minded...
