Sarah Haskins Introduces Modern Lady

I miss Sarah too!

I have been watching the new Modern Lady with Erin Gibson since Target Woamen with Sarh Haskins was taken off. I began watching with an open mind and now my mind is closed. My verdict is in: BRING BACK SARAH & TARGET WOMEN. Erin seems like a nice lady and she really tries to be satircal & funny, but unfrotunately, she IS NOT. Is there something odd goin on there at Current? Is your new formula to bait folks with good quality programing like Rotten Tomatoes & Target Women and then snatch it away? Because if it is, then we will all have to excercise our remote controlls & watch other channels.

I will not be watching info mania anymore as I began watching info mania for the sheer brilliance in delivery and originality that Sarah brought to Target women.

Personally, I loved that Target women showed the media and the part they play in 'dumbing down women' they even went as far to show the brands that were orcastrating this manufactured fasard of what it means to be a 'woman'.

I find it insulting that they the have re-branded the show and replaced the presenter with what they presume is a more likable pioneer for heroism. This is no way in shape or form a refection on Erin, but did they have to choose someone who has clearly had work done and who finds security in conforming to American stereotypes.

It seems to be the content is focused on celebrity agenda which is cringe worthy at best and for those reasons this only furthers the stereotype that Sarah was trying to break.

It's a shame, will there ever be a positive female role model that tells it like it is. Not on current tv.

erin does have a hard seat to fill and so far its just the same segment. why did it have to change at all? is sarah focusing more on writing these days? sarah i miss you....

I miss Sarah though, I am glad to see that the show is keeping a female focused segment. Does anyone know what Sarah is up to next?

Sad Sarah is gone... but this was funny.... Give Erin a break she is new. I am glad the show has a new woman advocating for women again. I also think Brian from "that's so gay" is Hahalarious! Go Erin!

I just watched Modern Lady and loved it! I'll miss Sarah, but GO ERIN GO!

modern lady definitely appeared to be trying too hard. it did not flow smoothly and seemed like the poor woman's (ridiculously less funny) target women. :(

Erin, we're in mourning here over Sarah's departure, so one word of advise:
don't become a copy of Sarah (which the first 'modern lady' segment kinda was), make your segments your own. That'll be better for all of us.

I'm going to go cry some more.

I wasn't blown away by the first segment of modern lady, but i have faith! Erin, you seemed to be not totally comfortable on camera,( just my feeling ) relax,and you can make this great!! very excited to see more!

i saw the new segment with erin, it's bad, just a boring, badly made copy of sarah. i started watching infomania for target women, i'm not going to watch anymore

Bad idea on the 'hand off'... Everyone misses Sarah more now.. I know I do.

i refuse to watch infomania now. i really dont ever want to see modern lady. she wasnt that funny and was trying to hard.

So, I watched the new segment....I am not impressed. Sarah was SO much more sarcastic and funny. Erin seems like she is trying very hard to be funny. I wanted to like it but could not. Bring back Sarah!!! :(

Target Women with Sarah Haskins was the main reason I started watching Current TV. Can't believe that she left and gave away the golden tampon.. lol

I dont see why both cant be on, they should swap people out for others periodicly. Or better yet, run 4 days a week like Daily show, or twice a week simular to other shows, something, anything DON'T TAKE SARAH AWAY! :'(

Target Women and Sarah Haskins were the most consistantly hilarious things on Current TV! (As much of the writting for Infomania/Supernews etc., kinda fluctuates in it's ability to bring great chuckle... IMO)

Actually she hosted some of the funniest consumer parody skits I've ever seen on Target Women... period!

Well, it's good to see that they have someone new to do Sarah-type stuff. Target Women was one of my favorites.
