That's Gay Salutes: Wall Street Journal's Supremely Lazy Kagan Coverage

Actually a whole bunch of people made the same observation, from the Daily Show to Pam's House Blend. And let's be honest - why else would they use a 17-year-old photo? Has she since become a vampire, and now her image can't be captured on film?

apparently you didn't bother to read any of my opinions, dingbat. As I've been saying, I don't see the point of the whole stupid argument, who gives a crap if she's a lesbian, it seems to be the liberals, not the conservatives, who are fixated on this issue. And to my knowledge NO ONE from Washington Post has made one comment that they sought a softball picture to "make her look gay", it's all you silly queers, from Bryan Saffi to you Randy-Randall, who want to try to make that into some sort of scandal.

You look at all the photos of the woman and none of them look good. I have yet to see anything that is a complimentary photo, with the exception being the softball photo. And you libs all run around like queens with your heads cut off screaming about how "they" (whoever they are) are trying to make her look bad because "softball is gay". What if she'd been playing basketball? Oh yeah, women's B-ball--very gay. How about Lacrosse? Oh yeah, VERY gay. You area all more fixated on this gay thing than the conservatives you attempt to condemn!!!

Get over it, it's just a damn picture.

have you SEEN more recent photos? no, she has not become a vampire, but she has become some kind of bookish version of the Pillsbury doughboy. That 17-year old photo looked good. I don't see why in the world you all think there was some editorial conspiracy at WashPo: "team, go find the gayest picture you can find, we need to show her as a lesbian!"
