Miley Cyrus, Please Stop

Sergio_Cilli
Sergio Cilli tells Miley Cyrus that her efforts to reveal her sexy side in her new video for the song "Can't Be Tamed" have been a failure. It's the first edition of a new segment called "Music Intervention."

    • Miley was great in that video and I like the bird thing too, it's self expression and creativity! She's mixing it up and having fun with it - and I'm not just saying that 'cuz I'm in the video

    • You want some Cheese with that wine? She can think of herself as a bird if she wants to, who are you to say otherwise. Right now she has the best of both worlds trying out the sexy teen and keeping her TV show with her dad. Besides Why are you watching the Today Show?

Ok at least its not Fox(faux)news. I don't think its cool to put people down just because you don't understand it(them) and if you don't like a show then don't watch it. This sounds more like whining then an intervention as you don't seem to be helping her just voicing you complaints.

Not a hater just don't like it when a person tries to place another in a box of what they think that person should be, act, or express themselves. Its like when he dissed Snoop for his new video because its not what Sergio is used to seeing.

    • I disagree with this guy. And it's not because I'm a Miley Cyrus fan (I'm not) when it comes to her as a singing stage act, because I've never heard her sing. All I hear is AUTO-TUNE; however I don't understand what she does as a "singer" has to do with her as an actress. They're two totally separate things.

It reminds me of when Madonna signed a commercial deal to promote the Pepsi soft drink, yet they were up in arms over her music video which was drastically different from the video she shot for Pepsi, even though it was the same song. They are two totally separate markets and one has nothing to do with the other. What's even more hypocritical is that Madonna was allowed to keep her $5million Pepsi promoting fee.

If I'm invited The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville I'll show up at the awards wearing a cowboy hat and boots and western shirt and pants, if I'm invited to the Grammy's the costume will be sequins and something uptown Manhattan-looking that's designed by Kenneth Cole -- same difference here.

    • Hmmm, even though pop music isn't our families 1st choice in music, I disagree. I think her music is sweet. She's growing up, leave her be.
The fact that you wanted her to be MORE stereotypical and dress up like a schoolgirl is creepy.

    • Miley Cyrus is a mediawhore than is a pure construct. Not that beautiful or talented, she is designed to make stupid teenagers even more foolish through her toxic mindless shows and performances.

    • Hey, since they kicked Sarah our I am highly suspicious in what these guys are saying and/or doing.
And if you haven't seen the reviews and comments that mainly have happened in the last few weeks on the subject, you wouldn't blame me for not being to sure in the words I read/hear and their meaning.

    • OK... does Sergio fails to see the analogy between wing/cages/change and growing teens?
      If yes... fail.

Also, "stop trying to be sexy in any new forms and stick to the stereotypical sexy themes". Yes, that's so interesting... we never heard that before...
      Yawn...

The whole "I am older, now I will start dancing without pants" is really old and I wouldn't mind a show in which Sergio comments the fact that a transaction between child and a growing person could be managed without taking your pants off. (Because growing up isn't all about sex life but about... you know, growing mentally, intellectually and... you know, fuck that, let's just check her ass again)

"people want to see teenage girls playing stereotypical sexy roles as school girls" sounds incredibly creepy.

So I assume he's being sarcastic.
      I hope...

    • Note to Miley Cyrus: PLEASE stop being a whore. Every young female singer in Hollywood tends to lean toward whore. Try being something more classy, like a harlot.

So it's ok for guys (like you or Colin Farell) to be WHORES, but wrath of Kahn forbid if a female acts that way? If it weren't for girls and women like Miley, guys like you wouldn't get laid. Yaaa for whores!
