Let me in is BETTER than the original. That's right I said it! The REMAKE is better. The remake is far more compelling/better acting/better cinematography/better crafted. Both child actors are good. I really enjoyed Kodi Smit-McPhee from the film "The Road." He is a great child actor and I think he is going to be a huge star. This film is deliciously dark...pulls the viewer in..great filmmaking!!

I miss the employee picks, top tens, top fives, celeb fave films, screenplay cliches etc. Ditch infoMania and bring the RT Show back. I'm gonna start an FB campaign!

I hated it, instead of getting scared (except for that attack under a bridge), it kept making me laugh. I had to control myself not to offend the people in the theatre. I agree with Ellen Fox when she says that it was a hipster Twilight. But I wouldn't recommend anybody to see it, unless your doing it for film educational or academic reasons or if you are an avid collector of strictly vampire movies. If you'd like too see kids acting F@# up, Out of the top of my head I'd say the Mexican film "Voy A Explotar" (I'm gonna explode).

Super disappointed with the change to rotten tomatoes. It used to be my favorite thing to watch, and now its boring. So, so sad.

As a Swede, I'm obviously biased, but I didn't think the remake was anything compared to the original. The remake didn't bring anything new to the table - that juxtaposition of the innocence of childhood love with violence is a theme introduced as early as the original novel, which I spent a lot of time analyzing in school, so it's not something that's particular to the remake.
Also, Ellen, I'm so sorry but you didn't even pronounce it a little bit right! But it was a good try! :D

"I trust you Jack" - my thought after a "swede" commented upon "let the right one in"
I loved the movie(the swedish version) it was something that Europe and Sweden has that can't be copied by others.P.S. what's your opinion about the movie "du levande"? cause i liked it

I haven't seen "Du Levande", sorry! It seems very "indie-Swedish" (which is a very common genre over here), and I've heard mixed reviews about it. I'll try to see it some time though! :)

My opinion is that the original as it says is original; the remake didn't come up with anything new and the actors were not as interesting as the swedish ones.
