Due Date reviewed by Rotten Tomatoes on infoMania

Brett_Erlich
Brett Erlich and Ellen Fox review "Due Date," starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis as two incompatible men stuck on a road trip from Atlanta to Los Angeles. After an airport mishap, high-strung Peter Highman (Downey) resorts to riding with an eccentric stranger named Ethan (Galifianakis) in order to reach his girlfriend before their first child is born. Does Robert Downey, Jr succeed at playing against his usual charming character type? Brett and Ellen felt a little disappointed.

Rotten Tomatoes is a recurring infoMania segment dedicated to the movies. Join hosts Brett Erlich and Ellen Fox on Thursday nights at 11/10c on Current TV as they review the latest movies and interview some of your favorite stars.

    • Please bring back the old Rotten Tomatoes format along with access to the full Infomania weekly episode. I'd be much more likely to write my local cable providers to hound their bible-belt asses about programing lineups, on Current's behalf, if I wasn't so disenchanted by the "New Deal". Why don't television channels just offer an online streaming version of their programing for a small monthly/annual fee? This way we cut out the middle men and could potentially hit cable and satellite providers in their wallets. They haven't catered to individuals for years anyway. I realize this was probably a fairly naive post, but I've said dumber things...

Always good to see Rotten Tomatoes segments... They pretty much nailed this one. Though I do enjoy Zack here, i'm totally not buying in to Downey Jr's character.

Though I think I'm done with this. I cannot "check out more InfoMania every thursday night at 11/10 Central" because it's ONLY on CurrentTV. I certainly don't appreciate the little teases we're being given. Give me some content and I'll give you endless numbers of ad views.

      Brutal. so brutal.

Hey Current... all these comments that we've seen around complaining about the changes? Those people are your core audience. Marketing 101 : Don't alienate your core audience.
