Italy's pimp-daddy prime minister: Modern Lady

Erin_Gibson
Italians are molto upset that "Jersey Shore" will be shooting its fourth season in Florence. But as Erin Gibson explains in her newest "Modern Lady," for years now Italy has been tolerating - even celebrating - its own one-man reality show: prime minister Silvio Berlusconi. Will sexist Silvio's womanizing ways ever catch up to him?

For good reason, no woman has ever had the balls, moxie or delusion to claim the title of "the world's premiere basic cable expert on lady stuff."

Until now.

Meet Erin Gibson. She's freakishly tall, sort of smart, and willing to do just about anything to get a bemused chuckle.

Her segment, Modern Lady, on infoMania, is dedicated to reporting and commenting on what's happening on Planet Lady.*

*The asterisk next to "Planet Lady" is actually a typo.

    • Excellent report Erin Gibson. Compared to his spirit channel behavior, Berlusconi is really very discrete. No it's not reassuring. WW3 isn't going to be as humorous as the womanizing clown that stimulates it for his reincarnation as adolescent daemonic emperor. Most of the bunga bunga sex party Berlusconi is to try to reassure his spirit homo orgy "dado" buddy system that they're really not homos. His current daily 4 second covens don't really cover the spread of his division conquest. How can the jerk call getting a blow job from his position as billionaire prime minister a conquest. From his position even the Queen of England is less powerful than the media majority propriety, billionaire prime minister.

    • After actually being in Italy, the capital of cool and class, if those clowns don't realize how lame and (uncool) they really are, then there is no hope for any of them.

    • I hadn't checked current in a few weeks. This clip is not funny, definitely ignorant and offensive. The subculture featured in JS is something you won't find in Italy. What is the underlying message of this video? Is it that since Italy has Berlusconi as its prime minister Italians are not entitled to protest against JS filming in Italy? This is preposterous.

And the last video is definitely a fake.

    • Jersey Shore was a big hit here in Italy and you should have seen the crowd of people going to the press conference to see those dumbass "actors" that inhabit that inhuman tv show, a symbol of the degeneration of the American nation.
You really think that we enjoy having Berlusconi as president? You really think that we don't pass almost every day criticizing him for the way he represents us, for the way he has ruined Italian politics turning them into a onemanshow based on gossip? We have been protesting against him for years, he has been charged tens of times for corruption, extortion, abuse of power and links with the Camorra. The list of women he has promoted to parliament only for their looks, the homophobic comments, the vulgarity, the shame that he has brought us. (by the way the last video you show, Erin, is probably a fake.)
My question is: While we protest and try to get rid of Berlusconi, why can't we protest against Jersey Shore?
I found this video to be offensive against my country and ignorant.

    • That's telling the gigalo, Erin. With a Billion dollars worth of lira
behind him, you'd think he'd have more sense than to give 2 shits
about an American TV show even if it evokes his guilty conscience
after the Vatican's displeasure with him. He's got dollars but no
sense. Paul McCartney: " I don't care too much for money, cause
money can't buy me love " Or peace either, apparently. Rodney
      Dangerfield nailed it: " I tell ya , I just can't get no respect !!! "
We all reap what we sow. Ain't dat da truth. If I were Berlusconi
I'd switch from wild oats to hay/alfalfa next time he thinks of taking
      stock of his mounts. Heh.
