Bad TV Guide

Are you sick of Charlie Sheen? Too bad!

Sunday night heralds a high-water mark (or low-water, depending on one's perspective) in Charlie Sheen reportage as TLC and Biography will air dueling one-hour specials on the Winning One.

Biography's "Charlie Sheen: Bad Boy on the Edge" will appear first, at 9 p.m. ET. Then you'll want to stay on the couch for "Charlie Sheen: On The Brink" at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.

Since the channels have spent literally weeks on the making of these sober documentaries, we should expect some ground-breaking revelations. Certainly more than in the early round of Sheen specials, such as VH1's "Charlie Sheen: Winning ... Or Losing It With Dr. Drew," which does draw special notice for its use of an ellipsis in the title. Or Spike TV's "Charlie Sheen's Winningest Moments," which was animated by Taiwanese viral sensations NMA. How Spike avoided calling it "Charlie Sheen: Winningest Moments" is anybody's guess.

Of course, you might prefer to watch the series finale of HBO's "Big Love" this Sunday. Or perhaps "The Amazing Race" or "Celebrity Apprentice." Some folks have even been known to spend a quiet Sunday evening talking to their families or reading a book.

Though those people likely didn't click on a blog post titled "Bad TV Guide." Hey, you can't say you weren't warned.
