This Season on Long Way Round

MikeBunnell
Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman met on the set of "The Serpent's Kiss" in 1997 and formed a strong friendship through their mutual passion for motorbikes, the freedom of the open road, and the adrenaline rush of an extreme challenge.

In "Long Way Round," they travel 20,000 miles through 13 countries -- riding from London through Eastern Europe and Russia, then flying to Alaska and continuing through Canada and the U.S. to end in New York City.

From being held at gunpoint in Kazakhstan to witnessing the majestic vistas of Mongolia, this series captures the spirit of friendship and adventure in a completely fresh way.

Watch "Long Way Round" on Current TV, Tuesdays at 9/8c.

    • Absolutely love the Long Way Round and Long Way Down. I would give a leg to have participated in these journeys, to get out on the road and see the world. I love riding but this would be an adventure. Well maybe thats my idea of adventure, some people would like to lobotomize themselves for fun. If charlie and ewan have another adventure i'll be sure to tune in!

    • You know, Blindman, that these guys are really doing it. They've done 2, and another is in the works, or has just been completed. Being a motorcycle type of person, I thought it was great, they've got way more go for it than I do, and I admire the things they went through. If you think it's boring, you could always watch the Tuetels on American Chopper. That's real. Really.

    • To anyone who hasn't seen this, don't bother! There are much more productive ways you could spend your time, you could lobotomize yourself with a rusty spoon for example...

    • I loved this show. One of the first shows I ever got addicted to. However can anybody explain to me, why is this a premier if it came out a long time ago? I love it how at the end of it all, Canada turned out to be very dangerous.
