There are schools you can go to for education in this area . I wonder why more people do not seek them out . How could that not be fun ? I knew a guy who took a class with some chick , that taught women how to incapacitate a man in less than an hour , from pleasure . I want to take that class . Why are people so complacent ? Study shmuddy - anything involving the senses can be taken to a high art form . It is sad that sex is used like a bludgeon to sell things in this culture . It has a powerful impact on and drives much of our lives . We need to know more about it . Best learning is experience .

Personally, I recently looked everywhere on the net for techniques to last longer. So as with every generalization, there are exceptions to this one...like me...:). As far as one night stands, never had one but I couldn't imagine putting a lot of effort into a relationship that lasts for one night.

And why are there continuously 3 or 4 page-one articles on marijuana? I mean, I'm all for legalizing pot, but there are certainly more pressing issues that need attending to in the world.

I agree with those who have stated that it's probably more likely due to the physical makeup of men and women. It's true that there are men out there who think sexual acts are solely for their gratification, but it's also true that it's physically easier for men to orgasm than women.

Most guys are just focused on getting off themselves. If you really want to get a girl to orgasm make it all about them and do what makes them get off. If you do so not only will you get off, but you'll give the girl the ride of her life! :-) that's what I do and hasn't failed me yet

Ummm...that's why you're always supposed to get the girl off first and several times if possible before you pull the proverbial trigger.

Here we go.......Interesting how, according to scientific research, 7-8 out of 10 women are physically unable to have orgasms during intercourse. But why bring that up? What's science got to do with this thread? Instead lets stereotype an entire gender and make it mens fault that some women don't take responsibility for their own orgasm.

P.S. Just a side note, before all you women strain your shoulders patting yourselves on the back for making it easy for men to have an orgasm.....yeah, thats more natures doing then yours. Men have easier orgasms to make them want to have sex more. The more men have sex the more chance there is for the continuation of the species. Maybe you should blame nature for having trouble getting off.

Yeah, this is an American thing, really. Having lived in a few places, American men and women do like to bitch about one another, and have a negative attitude toward one another. Frankly I don't know how men tolerate being in a marriage with an American woman (see).

I'm married but my wife is English, we are in Aus at moment and it feels so great to be around women who have a positive view, or, at least, men and women have no prejudiced view one way or the other toward each other.

Another reason I find most American women intolerable, well, have a listen to the tone of this article: We women must stand up and demand our rights as women to have a woman orgasm because woman woman women I'm so female-centric and the world revolves around me.

I don’t think orgasm gap is so much an indicator of the laziness of men as much as it’s an indicator of the gullibility of some women. If I’m not emotionally invested in you, your not smoking hot, or your not particularly fun in bed why do you think a guy is going to go the extra mile for you?

The common chord shared by these three situations is that somewhere along the line the lady needs to bring something to the table. Men are not going to just going to escort you to the magical realm of orgasm for free.

With my wife and I there is an understanding that the less I get sex the less she is going to get off. If we only have sex once a week I am going to be the only winner, but if she devotes the time for three or more times she will definitely come out on top. No pun intended.

As much as I dislike Jeff Foxworthy, he hit the nail on the head on this issue. Men are like bottle rockets, women are like diesel engines. Takes a while to get them going, but once you do it's a marathon. A couple of you got it, I think if sex was on women's minds as often as it's on ours, we wouldn't have a problem.

I completely disagree. My girlfriend gets off exponentially more times than I do. Girls can have multiple orgasms, men are done after one.

What this all really comes down to though is whether the couple knows how to please one another and please themselves. Relax and figure out how it works, that is what sex ed really should be about. Sometimes the boy is lazy, sometimes the girl is up tight. The blame should be obvious in either case.

i probably get off 25% of the time while she gets off 95%. I find these 'studies' rarely apply to me.

I agree that it might be difficult sometimes and that some of those times the woman's "wandering mind" is to blame, but in the end of the day, sex is about pleasing your partner. If she pleases you and you don't live up to your part of the bargain, face it - you have got to get better.
