Mars bars smaller (boohiss) but cost the same

The Mars company reduced the size of some of it's biggest sellers last year in order to "help tackle the nation's obesity crisis". Well they've just been caught out in that little warping of the truth and admitted it was more about the rising cost of manufacture. But still also about the nation's obesity crisis. Because, like, they have a moral compass or something. Whatever, I'm having a Snickers for breakfast, all this subliminal advertising has gone to my head.

    • I'm sure Wagon Wheels are smaller too & it's not just because they seemed giant sized from eating them when I was a kid.

This definitely calls for Mars Bars to be pimped for Pimp That Snack!

    • I have rediscovered Fudge Bars! A finger of fudge is just as fun. And at just 15p still, it works out as one of the most cost-efficient ways to enjoy chocolate. Nom nom nom

    • If they really wanted to tackle the nation's obesity crisis, they'd stop making most of their products altogether. And that would never happen because all the normal sized people would get angry. I think they were just trying to pinch some extra pennies.
Plus, it's not like Mars bars are the reason people are fat. The issue runs much deeper. They'd be better using their profits to fund some sort of public health campaign to educate people on how to keep normal weight.
