Of course, we always knew we were smarter, but now there's proof!

A study at Brunel University tracked 200 students over a period of 4 years and concluded that, even though both genders had almost identical A-Level results, the girls of the group consistently outperformed the boys on their courses, especially in the geography and earth science department.

Well done ladies!

    • We live in a meritocricy, focus on the individual peeps. This kind of negative one-up-man-ship would rightfully be smacked down if you tried to do it between races

    • statistics specifics: let me count the ways
. . . Limited field and results, only 200 alum out of billions worldwide, Subjects stated play to womens strengths as info regurgitative in nature, men play to computation and awareness. . . such as the tactics needed to survive outside of the classroom
(fem wiles aside of course. . .men"s greatest TRUE disadvantage)
and nettle states correctly that men (in America at least) are being dumbed down with "pop pseudo culture" constatedly berating us saying "Its ok to be a commercial consuming beer swigging sport addicted alpha-TARD with toys galore"
other studies have also shown that men are usually left on their own after teen years more often then women, translation women have better support/coping systems to handle the day to day of stress
As the writer is possibly biased as are the resolts my conclusion is "women want more money for jobs that men do" which I'm all for but . . . . well you know

    • This trend has been increasing steadily over the years. It has been thought that a transition from classes that emphasize boys' needs into ones that focus on girls' needs. It's also been noted that popular culture tends to depict boys as stupid and dull, and the theory of stereotype threat proves that it affects males negatively.

This isn't at all surprising to me. College enrollment has shown that females are starting to outstrip males and are quickly becoming the dominating force.

    • I refuse to believe.
Especially knowing that half the girls I know are idiots.
And remember it doesn't mean girls are more intelligent, just that they care more about exams.
