Fresh Faces in Fashion: Sofie Olgaard

The annual Fresh Faces in Fashion show, hosted by Gen Art, features up to eight local emerging fashion designers and four accessories designers in five cities: New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami.

Sofie Olgaard was a featured runway designer at the 2008 Fresh Faces in Fashion Show in San Francisco. Originally from Denmark, her designs have been said to be melancholic. Sofie's designs are now being sold in stores in California, Chicago, Texas, New York and Connecticut.

    • Loves it! I found her dresses and skirts to be rooted in simplicity and understated detail. I was swept away by her unconventional creations of intriguing silhouettes that are simultaneously modern and classic.

    • its ok. i liked some of her clothes. the one's that look like they fitted the models..

      some of the models looked like they couldn't fill in some of the dresses .. ya know?

    • These designs are amazing!!! But, I don't know what I love more, the clothes or Sofie.

      This collection is minimal done right! It is clean and subtly sexy with complicated silhouettes versus vivacious colors. These designs are my kind of wardrobe staples with a lovely romantic twist.
