    • This is a form of Eugenics, the government now has the control to take your child away and stop you from getting married, if they deem you unfit, I agree that in the correct circumstances these laws should be in place, but the government can never get it right, what about all the drug abusers/alcoholics etc who still have custody of their children? they're going after the wrong most vulnerable people, like they always do! it's a shame they wern't so quick to save baby peter.

    • Wow! This is very sad. I do not know the whole story but she seems okay. How is learning disabled defined there? How did social workers get involved to stop the wedding in the first place? I hope she gets the support she needs. This sounds like a gross violation of her rights.
