    • it's natural in my opinion, seems most people no matter what gender, if young want an older person and if old wants a younger person

    • Adds a whole new meaning to the saying "It's not the years, it's the mileage." *cackles* Well they may have me beat in both, but I've got them beat in flexibility (yoga, 30 mins everyday, 7 days a week, 6 years and counting baby), and lack of plastic surgery. Not saying I won't be a cougar, quite the opposite. You should tell your grade school boys that they need to be on the lookout for me, because in 10-20 years, I'll be waiting outside of high schools with a car loaded full of Hot-Pockets and video games. They won't stand a chance.

    • This is great! I find myself dating older women more and more. I am tired of the young ones whining and neediness. Older women have their lives together and all the petty things are never an issue with them. A pure utopia of relationships!

    • I'm in "Cougar Limbo" LOL... I look as if I am 25 years old, but I am actually 40! There are plenty of us older cats who want to (and can) "get down" only... No games, no bags, no stress. What cougars may not realise, is while the young dudes may have the so-called "engery", we older ones have energy AND techniques. LOL Please register for my "Free Demonstrations" LOL

    • ok for starters the main blonde is hot.

two i want mariah carey to be my personal cougar, i'll even get a job at best buy in the geek squad department if it helps.

three what is actually wrong with older women dating young men for just the sex? most of us guys have spent a good part of our lives just trying to hook up with chicks to the effect of simply dumping them right after the deed is done or a couple of months of self fulfillment.

four i've had a "cougar" and truthfully it was cool. women are better as they get older and to know a woman doesn't need you is completely sexy to me.

although i'm married now the prospect of once having a woman who would call me then be like cool we'll talk was awesome. no bs'ing why i had to leave, no sneaking out the house after waiting patiently for them to go to sleep and for those who didn't pass out it was refreshing to actually get a home cooked meal or breakfast afterwards.

i would recommend any young man in the navy, especially stationed in san diego to completely pass all the cute young ladies and go after these women.

      its the perfect city.

      be easy hunters

I especially love the dog park scene with the self-proclaimed nymphomaniac... at least she doesn't beat around the bush!

    • I totally dig this pod. The pod makers showed the story from so many angles, which really sold the pod. The characters were great they were real, they were interesting, but looking than most of the cougars I've seen. The editing was great, and the graphics and stock footage kept everything really entertaining.

    • I thought this was an interesting topic and that the filmmaker did a lot of things right. I really liked the use of old, public domain footage and the allusion to Mrs. Robinson in the beginning. It was also smart to have a few main characters on different sides of the topic. It was good to hear from the guys who were interested in the cougars and then, after our interest was peaked, to actually see the cougars. I thought it dragged a little in the beginning though and that some of the bites weren’t necessary. The bites at the end about women dating younger men attracting media attention because it’s this socially backwards thing despite men dating younger women for forever were really strong, but I think they would have packed more of a punch if they came sooner or if they weren’t following the slower part in the middle of the pod. Interesting topic though.

    • i think being in a college town can change your mind about the whole 'cougar' idea. you see, if there was a 42 year old, pretty attractive woman dancing like college girls do in a bar, i'd probably just laugh. but if i was maybe....26, and in a bar where its not only college kids then i'd probably be more inclined.

    • ok...
I have a cougar, she is 15 years older...
she is 57, and very rarely interested in making love.
when she is.. it is usually hyped up.. and then fridgid.. so where is the advantage..??

or in other words.. Now what??

I am glad i didnt marry her.. because i think with enough time it will be over... however we are good friends.. when its over... she will not want to be friends...

    • Hahahaha, very entertaining.
I never knew the world of 'the cougar' was so complicated and deep. I've never been personally attracted to an older woman, but hey, don't knock it 'til you try it, right? I just find it really entertaining that a dog park is one of the prime spots to meet a cougar. Hot stuff, right there.

    • Wow. This was hilarious. Regarding the whole Cougar phenomenon, I kinda agree that it is a little pathetic. Older women on the prowl for younger women? Ew. But, if that's what floats your boat...go for it. But if they're throwing themselves at these guys, then it's just plain old gross. But for the guys-- learn everything you can!

    • The topic of this pod is interesting yet I felt that the different examples that were used were not the best. I wasn't very impressed with the two scary plastic blondes who were interviewed. I'm not sure if all cougars look like that. Also, I would have cut out that photo of Woody Allen. The woman he is with is his daughter and his wife and that makes it even more creepy. Aren't there any more famous couples that have a little more class (like Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones) that convey the older man, younger woman combo?

    • great pod. i'm not sure how i feel about the guy borrowing people's dogs to get laid, but whatever. everyone's gotta do what they gotta do right? haha. men like cougars because they don't have to do any work. the women do all the work for them. it's easier. the older woman is at the peak of her sex drive and wants to get laid, and men always want to get laid, so it works out well.

      prowl on, cougars!

    • I love it! It's about time that women had the right to date a younger partner without being judged for it. We've moved on from the 'are you trying to seduce me Mrs Robinson' days. Now it's about equal rights - so rock on cougars. I'm a member of a few cougar dating sites like http://www.cougared.com and so far so good.

    • Women typically hit their sexual stride in their mid-thirties, just as many guys the same age are pulling up lame with the equivalent of a sex-drive charley horse.

    • I recently heard the term “cougars” and asked my guy friend what it meant. He said it had something to do with “women on the prowl.” Then tonight I came across this pod. Aha, the lightbulb went off in my head.
How pathetic is this phenonemon? Let me count the ways.
The two blonde “cougars” who are the de facto spokeswomen on this show? Skanks! Eew! They try to sound respectable by comparing themselves to the essentially “creepy older guy” --- that is, to skanky balding 'players' who try to date young girls because they have lots of money. Blech. I’m glad this pod was made, but I think this is just one more female chauvinist pig way of capitulating to a world that values women more for their sexuality than their minds and abilities. Plus they are women caked with makeup and obviously sprouting plastic surgery - how empowered! And who said it was “socially acceptable” for older men to date younger women? Most of the time it looks ridiculous and sleazy – Hugh Hefner? Scientologist-weirdo Tom Cruise? More like pathetic losers. It’s the same for older women who troll for young guys. The guys they're after aren’t going to take them seriously. Why should we.
