    • Thank you Tracey for making this video -- it is important for the world to understand what Chavez is really all about.

      I lived in Venezuela under three Presidents - Perez, Caldera and Chavez - and understand completely when Venezolanos say "Things were better when they were worse."

      Chavez has consistently lied to the people, mollified the poor with token reforms and handouts, stifled dissent and drove out multi-national manufacturers and service businesses that provided thousands of jobs and a future for the now-suppressed middle class.

      With zeal and tactics ironically similar to the current U.S. administration, Chavez has radically enhanced the powers of the executive branch -- dissolving and then packing the congress, rewriting the constitution and creating a virtually perpetual dictatorship.
