12,000 Mile Madness

One race, 2 deserts and 200 teams in old beat up Fiats fire up their engines and drive (without any support crew) the 8,000 miles that make up the Mongol Rally. It has also been called one of the last, great, stupid adventures left on this planet.
We follow Team NewYorkistan as they trek across Europe and Central Asia, fixing cars, bribing border guards and interacting with very confused locals. Will these Americans find their way to the finish line?

    • Looks cool. I was actually in Kazakhstan last summer, just driving down from Bolshoe Almatinskoe Lake (a little lake up a steep dirt road in the mountains) when we passed a group of overheating Rally cars. I just thought--that looks mad. Nice effort anyway.
