A Florida pastor texted his wife to say he'd been kidnapped but she wasn't to panic, to buy himself more time with his girlfriend.
Unsuprisingly, after he sent a few more messages in which he claimed he was negotiating his release, his wife started to freak out and called the police.
Over a dozen police fired up a search for pastor Wikler Moran-Mora and traced him by his mobile phone. When they found him with 'the other woman', Moran-Mora admitted he'd made the whole thing up to spend to spend a bit more time with her.
Er, romantic?
