A Goldfish Lived
I see you dying to flush insignificance.
This golden collection of scales
surfaced from its subaqueous destiny,
with paunch hung from gravity’s ceiling.
This pompous hot air balloon
shimmers with gaseous expansion
testing the water-
less altitude.
Eyeballs drift into the orbit of outer-
vase, caught in a dead stare,
observing plaster astronomy
from a glass globe until
the gilled chore makes contact;
strains within a nets abduction,
limply gravitating towards a black hole
with familiar wet sounds
followed by a vehement gyrating crash,
disposing of the evident.

This is great! I'm particularly found of "subaqueous destiny", what a cool choice of words. The whole poem, actually, is a cool choice of words for what amounts to flushing a goldfish! Very awesome!
