Why do people need religion? Isn’t it enough to have (man-made) laws that will regulate people’s lives?

True .. All religions are making between the person and God mode .. However, the Islamic religion, worship and prayer be directly between the man and his creator

As in all religions, but books, scriptures, doctrines and dogmas get in the way. Why use a book and a religion as an intermediary instead of direct communication?
