Through our partnership with video sharing site Vimeo, we’re thrilled to be able to show the winning films from our Current Short Cuts competition where young filmmakers were asked to submit their short films on the theme of Revolution.
Whether a fun quirky portrait or an observational access piece, we were looking for films that touch on the themes of change, subversive action and protest.
The richness of the world and the power of the human spirit have shone through the huge number of entries we received and settling on our final six was incredibly hard. Our winners show the diversity of outstanding talent that exists for short film-making, taking us from a street cleaner in Tel Aviv and a cardboard artist in Brazil, to extraordinary insight at British protests and an 87-year old lady who defies the world with her joy for life.
Don't miss Current Short Cuts: Revolution on Monday 16 January at 10pm.
