I'm all for kids pushing the envelop and risking it some and to really grasp at life and it's possibilities. This was a spectacular wheelie. Kudos.
The dad should have made the kid wear a helmet. Whatever you get up to you've got to protect the skull and the brain inside it. Period. I'm a biker and really push for helmet use. I know there were roll bars but a helmet is a must.

Agreed. I smashed my head off a wall when playng 5-a-side, blacked out, had a fit and bled everywhere. I ended up in hospital with 8 staples in my head... And that was just playing football (soccer), I'd hate to imagine what someone would look like doing a more extreme sport and hitting their head without protection.
Back to the story though, well done that kid!
