My favorite part from the little play was when they were all ata stand off and you heard the eagle cry in the background like it was from old western. Where the heck did "Segway" pop into this cartoon. Nobody's going to use those things, bicycles are faster and a heck of alot cheaper. Of course we all can take simple steps do cut energy use by parking at the first parking spot in the back of parking lot AND using uv bulbs and CFL instead of the old power hungry bulbs.

You don't like the price of petrol?
Either drive less or get a more efficient car.
And petrol is the UK is much more expensive than in the US, but you don't see us making brain dead cartoons about it.

Terrific job guys. It is true how public transportation have not really improve through time and we are just fuel addicts. Something has to improve.

Both My Legs Were Effectively Swept About 6 Months Ago.
Thank God my 1999 Honda is paid off and still gets better gas mileage than any "best fuel efficiency in its class" American sedan.
Take that Chevy Malibu and Ford Fusion.

When gas went up to $3.50 a gallon for premium, I bought a monthly public transportation pass. Now that premium is up to $4.3699 here, the buses and trains are growing increasingly more crowded. I think folks are getting the hint, and sending a message to the axis of oil! That message is that "We can no longer afford gas!" High fuel prices and a dollar that's worth ten Skittles have driven up the price of food and everything else. Public transportation is affordable, and biking or walking is still free!

Rising prices may mean more than minor inconveniences and lightened pocketbooks for gasoline consumers. The inflated cost of gas is causing unprecedented changes to our world economy and our petroleum-dependent lifestyles. That's why Global Community Communications Alliance (GCCA) is sponsoring Fuel-Free Fifth Days—an active campaign aimed toward lowering prices at the pump. This activist-minded, spiritual organization encourages everyone to proclaim their independence from fossil fuels on the 5th day of every month until gas prices are brought down significantly. The campaign's slogan is: “Freedom, not fueldom.”

Drilling in North Americas "oil reserve" will not lower gas prices, and will only contribute to the environmental crisis we are knee deep in already.....besides, if gas prices are the prime concern that forces us to start drilling in protected areas such as Alaska, then we should check our priorities, as your clip suggests..giving up a cup of coffee a day wouldn't be a bad start. I don't want a single life to be sacrificed for my trip to work...how bout you? Alternative fuel is the answer, if not alternative transportation altogether.

As usual, a great way to open up dialogue.
We don't need to end our dependecy to foreign oil, we need to end our dependency to OIL, period.
But with our various infrastructures (vast number of gasoline vehicles, commuting longer distances, petroleum products and by-products, foreign policies, domestic policies, oil oligopolies, increasing populations with gas powered automobile and the like) it will take a long time to sort this all out, if we decide to even keep up the energy to sort it out at all.
If the price of oil suddenly drops to half, how many people will lose interest in alternative fuels?
Until then, we'll do like Supreme says and pay whatever they want us to pay.

Wow...how true. My car pulled a gun on me today and demanded I give it at least two gallons to get us through the week.
I liked the jab at Starbucks, too. People will pay anything for coffee.
