      Rush is all about our Country and FREEDOM and Liberty for the people. I dare you to listen to him and see for yourself what he thinks and says about America.
      By the way, Rush is not a Repub, nor am I. We are just not Dems.

      It was John Edwards that tried to push the 2 Americas crap. And that would be the last thing Rush would do because of Edwards.
      Listen and learn if you dare to! He is all about personal responsibility Freedom and liberty. NOT Gov takeovers and hand outs. The problem here is that the Dems are for Big Gov. control taking away personal freedoms and hand outs right now. Of course there will be a conflict. Why would a conservative bow down to a dictator??

      NO ONE should ever actually listen to Rush. He's for entertainment purposes only. His Viagra fueled, hillbilly heroin coated diatribes are just adding to the global warming problem with all that hot air he spouts.

      moski, I have heard Rush's show several times, although, admittedly, I lack the stomach to be a regular listener. I even watched some of his TV show back in the 90's, which I found preferable to competing infomercials in the middle of the night. Although it could be argued that he puts ideology over partisanism, it's absurd to argue that Rush puts either over the well-being of our country. He's an entertainer, nothing less, and Rush's brand of entertainment appeals to the worst in people (simplistic dualism, demonization, emotion over reason, etc.). Rush is a hack, nothing more.

      BTW, I'm not a Dem either. Obama's the only Dem I've ever voted for (I'm a sucker for intelligence), and I've been voting since '92. I even voted for a Repub on this ticket, hoping THAT vote would counteract the sickening feeling I had by voting for a major party Presidential candidate (in fact, it only made it worse). These radio Repubs have been using the independent/libertarian rouse for so long now that I figured everyone was on to that ploy. Apparently not. FYI, they use that rouse to gain the trust of the audience so they can better sell partisan talking points.

    • Totaly agree about Meghan McCain. She is opinionated, young, tech savy, and still a moderate rather than the counterpoint to young republicans which are the folks you see at CPAC and who worship Rush Limbaugh. What does it say that the most rational future of the republican party might sound like a valley girl?

      Maghan is no conservative. she is her fathers daughter, which is exactly the problem. He was a lousy choice to have to vote for. A lot of Repubs stayed home because of Mc. Not much of a final fight for POTUS.
      Rush is not a Repub, he is a straight up Conservative that believes in the Constitution,Liberty and Freedom. Mc was no Repub either, way Liberal and a pussy in a political fight.
      Like Rush or hate him, he does not lie about the facts that are happening to our country. Most Libs have never listened to him and believe the made up lies without question, because they find the truth to be distasteful and would rather just think they are always right. It makes them "feel " good about themselves to remain ignorant to basic facts. Obama is becoming a Dictator taking away freedoms and all the Dems/Libs think it is great! Go figure, thought they screamed and cried like crazy when they thought Bush was taking anything over. Now it is all GREAT.??
      Meghan is not the new face of Repubs. The rejection of her father by the Repubs is proof. Most Repubs want someone that believes in what our founding fathers fought for and Conservative values. Liberty and FREEDOM are key.
      Maghan is pretty much nothing but a yapper looking for attention. She has become a bit of a joke on my side, especially since the MSM keep trying to say she is the "new" face of Repubs. ha ha ha . Libs are funny sometimes!
      Seems like most Dem/Libs just want free stuff not caring where it comes from. Pssst. . . ( taxes)
      Conservatives believe in personal responsibility and themselves, not hand outs.

    • If Nader had a fraction of the attention the village idiot gets, maybe, just maybe, the level of discussion & understanding of American politics would rise above the 13 years old mental age & 97 IQ level the marketers & advertisers are openly addressing now.
