    • I still refuse to get a twitter account.

I'm not a narcissist. I also don't give a crap about celebrities and the mundane details of their lives.

I already know that celebrities are just people. The magical aura of celebrity was permanently tarnished for me when I was a little kid by learning that a couple of my childhood-hero celebrities were also friends of my family. And were just people. With problems. As everybody else has.

I also love how the loop of introspection causes a cannibalistic self-consumption of "cool." Holding a mirror up to the hipster movement creates a hall of mirrors, in which nothing resides. What would be judged as cool, is lame for being cool, and thusly becomes cool for being lame for being cool. Eventually "hip" is meaningless and no one knows what pretense one should embrace to impress their peers.

      I pray for that day.

    • Epic Fail Josh! This has to be the worst episode ever!
Since Obama was voted in as President, Supernews has deviated from being 'news'-related to internet-culture related.

Some of these are funny, but this is not why i watched the initial 3-5 min episodes for a few YEARS. Waiting for more than a month in some cases just for a new few minute episode to come out.

It used to be a cartoon about political satire, with a few internet jokes thrown in now and then. But now, full blown internet satire just isnt funny anymore!!

I hope you take this as constructive criticism; this show used to be somewhat of a pic-me-up for me; when any show deviates from its title or what it initially used to be about it; on air anyway gets lower ratings and is eventually cancelled. Super'news'! has officially jumped the shark

i think the GOP is just too easy. they're essentially satirizing themselves. and outside of that, politically, our culture is in a good political place.
now as far as our culture itself, there's still a lot of work to be done. we all know that. there are indeed some battles to be fought with nihilism and empty aesthetics and techno-uh...deintellectualization and decommunication.
supernews goes where its needed! thats why its super. Pop and mass culture media need a major reconstruction

Well it seems to me that Supernews is just after the mainstreams, trying to find a common ground that its viewers can relate to. Whether its the media, pop culture, internet-culture, trends, or politics. Right now our culture is undergoing an incredible internet-craze that no generation before us had. I think its great Supernews can expand its borders and acknowledge this. It makes us realize how ridiculous things can become.

    • so if you STILL read AND glorify EASTON ELLIS & PALAHNIUK. think LARRY CLARK AND HARMONY KORINE are cinematic geniuses. And still consider Fear and Loathing one of your favorite films, well, uh, youre lame. and so pomo.
