District 9 - I cried throughout this whole movie.

My (late) review of The Time Traveler's Wife. It's rather (and predictably) short, as I ran into a bunch of uploading difficulties whilst recording this and so I had to distill my review into a few basic points. Plus I was tired after my grillionth time recording. Enjoy! (I hope)

My review for The Time Traveler's Wife. It's underrated and is definitely worth seeing. It's better than The Notebook and doesn't deserve the low rating it got on the tomato meter.

Fantastic film.

This may be a few minutes past the deadline as I ran into some unexpected uploading difficulties, but just in case it might still be accepted, here it is.

Besides the distracting alien mouths, District 9 was pretty sweet! Best unexpected movie of the summer (since The Hangover, of course!)

My take on District 9. A sleeper sci fi hit, that everyone should have seen coming. A must see, but don't bring the kiddies. It also raises interesting questions from the viewer on how human alien interaction might play out in an unromantic and intriguing fashion.

The Time Traveler's Wife had a few similarities to "Benjamin Button" (the couple 1st meets when he's a grown man & she's a child; they're often different ages; he's concerned that their child will inherit his condition; & the film tries to evoke a timeless love story feel), but this film isn't nearly as effective in any aspect...& I was really disappointed by "Benjamin Button".

The Time Traveler's Wife...

Here's my review of the Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. It's short, simple and to the point. Jeremy Piven is like a low rent unfunny Ari Gold. There are a few minor laughs but no major ones. Will Ferrell's appearance is the funniest part of this movie.

District 9 is one of the most original and best executed movies I have seen ever.

Time Traveler's Wife: Is it smarter than a 5th grader? Nope. A 5th grader should have at least a tenuous grasp on science and logic, and could probably come up with better effects using Movie Maker.

District 9 deserves a 6/10, just because it delivers on action where it falters on political message or basically anything else.

Hope and Paul discuss DISTRICT 9. Idiocy ensues.

This movie was much much worse than we were expecting. And we knew it was gonna be bad!

District 9 definitely holds it own in a summer full of awesome movies.

I am both a history nerd and a person who likes to see other people blown up by space guns. This movie was great for me.

I went to see “The Goods” so I could watch Jeremy Piven do what he does best – be sleazy.

I will say, though, the side plot involving Ed Helms’ character, Paxton Harding, now that one was far from lame. I mean, what guy DOESN’T want to be the lead singer of a Man Band. I’m calling mine Inphatuation – that’s Phat with a “P-H”.

District 9 very well written and the lead actor
Sharlto Copley does a great job especially being a first time actor. I look forward to seeing him in more films.

Time Traveler's Wife: Okay, but probably a better companion to the book than stand-alone movie.

We may be the INSIDERS of COMEDY, but this review is dry as a bone because there is nothing funny about how GOOD this movie is. Go see District 9 before its too late to beat the hype.

district 9 is such an awesome scifi movie if you like scifi go see this!! its sweet!

Rich white people love seeing themselves blown up by futuristic guns on the big screen.

Excuse the hair I had just gotten out of the shower, vanity aside...I think what makes my video perhaps somewhat interesting is that I am from Joburg, where this movies setting takes place.

I went to see District 9 this afternoon. These are my thoughts on the movie about 15 minutes after it was over. To summarize the review. Awesome movie, great graphics, 4.5/5 rating!

This is a funny movie. Not a happy sappy movie, definitely crass, but it tries to show some heart.

Go see it just for Rob Riggle's touching portrayal of a 10 year old.

Not a classic, but the actors really bring the funny to their characters.
Sure beats seeing G-Force or Funny People.
