hahaha, is there anything Brett Erliche can't do hilariously? And yes, no truly great movie has a sequel. Take Pulp Fiction and Fight Club for example. Amazing movies. No sequels. With exceptions to Jurassic Park and The Godfather of course. Though I did love JP: The Lost World. Can't help but love the Goldblum.

How Ironic -
This show actually IS a sequel - to the original show "Mr. Hollywood". This spin-off lacks the wit and irony used in its original incarnation - where pop-culture was exposed in all its vacuous glory. I am shocked that CurrentTV - which is supposed to be synonymous with disseminating unbiased information, and sympathetic to originality and individualism has conveniently overlooked the fact that they have essentially stolen someone else's intellectual property. The original show was something that they had privy to and passed on. Obviously to make something cheaper - with half the talent, and half the wit. My condolences to all those who have worked on the show - you have done the best you can with the tools you were given. And, I encourage you to keep trying - with your own material. All art (if you can call this such a thing) builds upon itself to offer different perspectives of the world. This perspective is neither unique, nor interesting. It is a sad re-make: it's the Anna-Nicole Smith from the Marilyn Monroe; it's the 20,000 generic follow-up videos from "I like Turtles". If you are going to copy something, for the love of god, make it better - I'm sure the creators of this show would understand that, since that is obviously the premise of the show.
Sure, I sound like a total asshole. And please, I welcome any snarky comments which may follow - mainly to see if this critical response remains posted, or if it is deleted by Current. Also, for clarity's sake - I am not the creator of the show, nor did I work on it. But I did see it built from the ground up... that's where the loyalty comes from.

I have a question-- didn't "All About Steve" already come out at the beginning of the summer? Or maybe in the spring? Or am I caught in a time-space loop?
I could have sworn I saw this film reviewed on Rotten Tomatoes already: Ellen Fox says that it reverses the genders on the whole desperate, unrequited love story (and then shows clips from other popular films where it's guys doing it), but instead of being endearing like it usually is when guys do it (for whatever reason), it just comes off as creepy. Or did I travel into the future? No really.
Am I wrong? Wasn't there a movie that came out already, that was exactly like this, with the trailer showing the lady falling in a hole even?
Have I finally come totally unhinged?

now that's a movie that deserves a sequel! Or at the very least be made in the first place.
