    • um, yeah, so shoot me if I thought Iron Man 2 was better than Iron Man 1. I mean, better action, more Robert Downy Jr being drunk and causing watermelons to explode, War Machine, a better villain, and more than enough subplots to satisfy all but the pickiest of critiques. What more could anyone want? Perhaps you just hyped this movie up too much in your little heads.

    • I think a lot of the people reviewing Iron Man II really missed out on one of the major parts of the plot. The development of Tony Stark as he overcomes his illness and learns from his father and S.H.I.E.L.D.

    • I just like these Iron Men movies because of Gwyneth Paldrow's long luxurious legs. Didn't even pay any attention to Robby Dowdy jr. or mick rorke. BORING! Give me Gwynny and that Scarnet Joehanson in a three way with Gil Verma (that's me). anyway, I watched this movie on bootleg cause there aint no way I'd pay more'n a dollar to see 'actor' and 'actress' play make believe.

oh, and any hottie womens out there get ahold of me. Holla Balla!

    • So, I'm not really into action movies, and have never really thought a hero or a villain was badass...but oh my gosh. I love Mickey Rourke's whip-like lightning bolt appendages. I was feeling "ehhh" during the other parts of the movie, but every time Ivan Vanko was in that suit, I was in awe.

    • I saw it,..opening night...
was I impressed with the camp acting, and cheesy plot with many loopholes, over the top special effects, and endless floating computer graphics, ....???
      answer,....no..

Scarlett Johansen's role seemed to only be there to show some cleavage in the sceen.
Robert Downey was all right no big complaints
      Paltrow is looking old
and Rourke was just a "stand in" enemy
but i still thought it wasn't that bad and I can chalk this one up to "just another movie trying to carry some sort of plot to produce a 3rd movie script."

BTW, I am sick of movie rendition of virtual computer graphics where all you are doing is watching the actor move his hands and you see floating bits of nonsense that is supposed to enhance the visual content...

just write a good script and good movie will follow.

    • "Its just a movie about one cocky defense contractor vs another cocky defense contractor."

Clearly someone has never read an Iron Man book. From Demon in a Bottle to the current storyline, that's usually what your basic Iron man stories are. That's the point, high military technology battles, like Thor is almost all mythology and Captain America is all basically WW2 redux.
