Just goes to show that these so called critics haven't really got a clue and it takes three of them to review one film. 28days/later was just shite and as rightly mentioned isn't really a true Zombie flick. The Crazies remake for me was predicable to say the least (No scares what so Ever!!!!). Apart from Zack Synders so called remake ( which really only used the title and the mall) have been poor imitations. Everyone wants George to remake Dawn over and over again. Nothing the great man will ever do from now on may never compare to it. So lets sit back and enjoy whatever he brings us in his remaining years.
George A Romero is a true horror legend and should be remembered that way

Just so we are clear you do realize (IF YOU WATCHED 28 days later / weeks) the people running rampant are not zombies they are infected with RAGE. A zombies body can not sustain damage like that. No did the victims show any paralysis with the trasition, between healthy to infected. Don't get me wrong those are two of my favorite films just trying to clear some question. Same as resident evil its a virus with a cure. ZOMBIES HAVE NO CURE. Secondly Romero original films Night of The Living dead , Dawn of The Dead, Day of The Dead. were amazing. The most recent that he made suck yes. He is a hypocrite when it comes to his films. That is if you "hardcore fans" have watched his interviews. Read some books research the history. Other than that good review I still plan to see it just to pay my dos and honor the old coot.

I was quite disappointed with this. Very slow film with a story that only barely managed to catch my interest.

Also, I couldn't agree more with the comment that "28 Days Later" is incredible. It's my favorite film in the genre.
