Great Moments in TV Swear Dubs: Scarface

Brett_Erlich
If half the fun in watching "Scarface" comes from the amount of swearing in it, then that's only doubled listening to the way the swearing is dubbed for TV. The Rotten Tomatoes Show recounts some of our favorite dubs from the television version of the gangster classic, starring Al Pacino.

The Rotten Tomatoes Show is a movie review show that airs on Thursday nights at 10:30/9:30c on Current TV. From reviews of the newest releases to commentary on cult favorites and movie trends, each episode of The Rotten Tomatoes Show is a fast-paced, comedic journey through the week in cinema.

    • Best swear dub I ever heard was in a TV version of The Big Lebowski. Instead of "This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass!" it was dubbed to say "This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps!"

    • "Sticking your hand up your toilet"? Ewwww... haven't they heard of 'watershed' like what the UK has (that film was shown late at night, minus the swear dubs)? I hope this segment continues...
