    • Best movie I've seen in a long time. With a brilliant cast and the legendary Hans Zimmer behind the music, writing genius Christopher Nolan puts up another fantastic show of what Hollywood has been missing while it was throwing together Grown Ups and Cop Out. I haven't been this intrigued by a film since Nolan's last masterpiece Memento.

    • Enjoyed the movie..kept my attention the whole time...BUT the endless "shoot out" scenes were too long for me...the ending screamed "SEQUEL". Special effects amazing....especially the "Dancing on the ceiling" part in the hotel.

The ending does anything but scream sequel. Nolan likes cliffhangers, and I can almost guarantee that he has no intention of making INCEPTION 2. I think we just live in a time where sequels are expected because hollywood likes money, and sequels are an easy ticket in. It took Nolan a lot of coercion to do the next batman, which he only agreed to if he could make a story that he could be proud of. INCEPTION is a neat package and has no room for a sequel. Thus it will not be made.

    • AVATAR - out of the box graphic technology.

INCEPTION -'Dreams within dreams', just a single line to give a twist to the movie.

I believe , every single movie, has one single concept or one single idea and then just beat around the bush... You find the jist of it, and it is all gone ???

Infact we people make a common man millionares and billionares, pity that if we all stop spending money... All these celebs are no celebs anymore ..They walk n talk just like any of us !.. Now this is reality.

    • Simple story line, explained very brilliantly.. Full Points...Adding "dreams within dreams" was the main concept, which added evrything to it...If you just take out these lines from the movie, it will not take you anywhere, it should just be bedtime story ' papa seeing dreams on his way home to meet the kids'... Thats it !

    • Great cast,great idea,suck *ss movie!
      Action movie??really??where??
this movie is 2 and half hour looooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng and you feel it.
kept pinching myself hoping that i was in a dream but no.
story IS original yes but there is no explanation on how they do what they do.
at the beginning of the movie you are given rules on what happens to you in a dream only to change the rules midway of the movie just to add suspense that isint there.the ''special effects'' are ok,they only scene that i enjoyed was the fight in the hotel hallway.it will be a good rental when it comes out but that's it.
      10% on my watch.

      You must enjoy Transformers.
And from what I remember the movie isn't an instruction manual to dream building.
Sure, if you intend to navigate into someone's mind to extract their secrets, this movie isn't the step by step instructions into the science and know how of dream navigation. And the rules don't change, it just got more complicated while you weren't listening.

No, Transformers sucked real bad also!!
My example is in The Matrix they use the phone to go from one world to the next. It's weird but at least you know how it's done. Not in this movie. If there would all have met in a computer that's in the suitcase.Like have an electrode stuck to a temple and when they fall asleep they and the ''victim''go to the computer that is controled by Leo's character then fine i would have bought that. Also in The Matrix you are told about rules that if you die in the matrix you also die in the real world. In Inception we start with the same kinda rules. If you get hurt in a dream you will feel it when you wake up or if you die in a dream you wake up right away!I had no problem with that until they changed the rule two third in the movie when because of a potion they got injected with if they die they stay in limbo...WTF??All that just to add ''drama''!!No thanks!Sorry!

    • Such a great movie and I really want to see it again.

I wouldn't recommend watching any reviews before seeing this movie though, since it spoils some of the awesome scenes.

I totally agree. Steer clear of spoilers before watching it. Also, I really want to see this film again. Feels like it needs a couple viewings to really process.

    • i loved this movie went and saw it last night one of the best ive seen in a while. That Karina la weekly girl with the glasses is extremely annoying though, only thing she has to say that actually has to do with the movie, is that it isnt visually stunning???? are you serious?? i know its like cool to be un impressed by everything and go to coffee shops and try and look as out of date as possible and talk about the latest hippest obscure indie bands. but leave that crap at the coffee shop, maybe if u dont know what your talking about u should just not say anything? instead u talk about how he has some five o clock shadow stubble...and it wasnt visually stimulating enough for u.. maybe u should jsut got back to the thrift store and do what u know best.

    • What the hell is it with this Karina LA weekly editor girl???!?! Whenever she comes on I want to listen but just can't... You can't help but ask yourself where she got those glasses from - and who in the world told her that they were looking good? You can also never see her eyes because of the reflections. Does she have any?

And then what the hell is up with those red lips... was there never a make-up girl who told her that she looks like a stripper? Help.

YES, I will see Inception, but I have no clue what her opinion on the film was...

    • Just saw it and really, really liked it. Maybe because I don't watch a lot of DiCaprio movies, I wasn't bugged about "autopilot" Leo. I thought everyone did a great job. No spoliers, but I'm a glass-full believer and the end was good.

Me either, and I've seen The Quick and the Dead, Titanic, Romeo+Juliet, Catch Me if you Can, The Man in the Iron Mask, Gangs of New York, The Aviator, Blood Diamond and The Growing Pains Episodes he's been in.

Maybe I'm not that picky when it comes to Acting.

Hmm, funny you guys mention it, but I'm not an avid Leo fan. I liked him in Aviator, Basketball Diaries, Shutter Island, and this. But most of his other stuff is hit or miss with me.

Oh, he was fun in The Quick and the Dead. Was Blood Diamond worth watching?

Just watched it in IMAX last night! Is it possible that it can be more amazing? Yes. Great cast, original story, mind-blowing action scenes. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, swoooon.

And don't bother with Blood Diamond, accent was terrible, "Bling Blang."

    • I'm going to see it either tomorrow or next week and from the previews I've seen it looks to be a thoroughly intriguing movie. It will be good to actually see a movie that isn't in 3D and that actually challenges you to think. And hey, Leonardo DeCaprio does angst real good. ;-)

    • I already have a soft spot for anything Christopher Nolan-- and add on Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt? I didn't stand a chance.
This movie was awesome and the perfect example for what I've been trying to argue for the longest time-- that 2D is the real 3D.

But was I the only one going nuts over how... meta it was to have Marion Cotillard acting and Edith Piaf playing?
