Flush Rush! How you can join the campaign to get him off the airwaves

Here inside ‘The War Room,’ we like to do more than simply report the news to you, we like to let you know you what you can do about the news.

In the wake of Rush Limbaugh’s tirade against Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke, dozens of advertisers have started withdrawing their sponsorship from the controversial radio host’s program. ThinkProgress reports 30 sponsors of Limbaugh’s show have suspended their ad spends so far. In addition to his sponsors, radio stations have also started to dump his show.

For our latest call to action, we invite you to sign two petitions to help put an end to Limbaugh’s misogynistic and derogatory comments.

More than 250,000 people have signed this first petition to Clear Channel Communications asking them to terminate Limbaugh’s offensive show.

Our second petition is to Leon Panetta, the United State’s Secretary of Defense. We are asking him to remove Limbaugh’s show from the Armed Forces Radio Network programming.
