Jennifer Granholm keeps finding herself in the spotlight. Last week Granholm proudly gave her big speech at the DNC, where she reconfirmed her commitment to jobs and her support for what the president has done to bolster the economy. And tonight, she will humbly addresses her big hair from her 1978 appearance on “The Dating Game.”
The video was provided by Bachelor No. 1 from the show that night, who unfortunately was not Granholm’s chosen date. The Detroit Free Press reported that “Marty Nislick, 67, of Bayside, N.Y., [said he] came across the footage on the Facebook page of a friend who was one of the losing contestants on the show with Granholm.”
Tonight Granholm will make a comment or two about that night, and maybe tell us which products she used in her hair to make it that big!
Here’s the clip of Granholm on “The Dating Game.”
Also, Granholm will also be appearing on “Inside Edition,” talking about her “Dating Game” experience, her speech at the Democratic National Convention and “The War Room,” today and tomorrow in San Francisco at 12:30 a.m. PT on KRON and tomorrow in New York at 1 p.m. ET on Fox.
Tonight, aside from Granholm revealing what her ”Dating Game” experience was like, we have a lot to cover. A New York Times–CBS poll out today found that the president leads among likely voters for who they think would be best on the economy, 47 to 46. It’s a narrow lead, but it’s the first time the president has led on this issue at any time in the campaign. We’ll discuss that and also give you the latest on the Middle East with Janine Zacharia, professor at Stanford University and former Jerusalem bureau chief for The Washington Post.
We’ll dive into the world of polls with John Whaley from Hart Research and discuss the political news of the day with political reporter Joe Garofoli. Lastly, we’ll get the inside scoop on Karl Rove from Craig Unger, the author of the new book “Boss Rove.” Tune in to Current TV at 7 p.m. PT for a show you don’t want to miss!
