Tonight on 'The War Room' – March 21

From Mark Berniker, Executive Producer, “The War Room with Jennifer Granholm”

Tonight we tackle the tragic death of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen gunned down by a neighborhood watchman. The FBI and Florida Justice Department are investigating the case, and former Michigan Attorney General Jennifer Granholm will provide her perspective on this important legal case that gets to the core of the problem of racism in America.

Then, a night after Mitt Romney convincingly won the Illinois primary, there are renewed calls for Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul to get out of the GOP primary battle. There are also questions about where Rick Santorum’s candidacy is going. The question is no longer whether Romney win the nomination, but when, and by what margin.

We return to the topic of how oil speculators are impacting the price of gasoline, and a number of senators are up in arms. Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal visits “The War Room” with details on a bill to crackdown on the oil speculators that are effectively putting the hurt on the American consumer. He’s had enough of the talk: He wants action taken against oil speculators who are skewing the market.

Also hurting Americans is the issue of voter ID – and it could have a direct impact on the upcoming elections. Arlene Holt Baker, the AFL-CIO’s executive vice president, will tell us what her union is going to do to mobilize voters in more than 12 states where restrictive provisions have been enacted as law.

Then we’ll return to the campaign trail and put all of tonight’s pressing issues in context with California Democrat Christine Pelosi and Republican Duf Sundheim.

We’ve got those guests and a whole lot more on “The War Room” on Current TV starting at 9 p.m. EST and 6 p.m. PST. If you have questions you want to ask our guests or thoughts on the show, tell us on Facebook or Twitter. It’s going to be a great show, tune in and pass on the info to your friends!
