From Mark Berniker, Executive Producer, “The War Room with Jennifer Granholm”
The pressure is building on Rush Limbaugh from both sponsors and Republican elected officials for his outrageous commentary about women and contraception. We’ll harness some of that outrage with Former Labor Secretary and current Berkeley professor Robert Reich tonight on “The War Room.”
Bob Reich will also talk jobs, manufacturing and the pressures on the middle class in the context of the upcoming election.
Then we shift our focus to Super Tuesday and the key battleground state of Ohio. We get a unique view of the battle for the “Buckeye State” with Dayton Mayor Gary Leitzell. He’s an independent and feels strongly that social issues are clouding the real issue that matters to his consituents: jobs!
Tennessee is another important GOP primary state on Tuesday, and we’ll head to Nashville with a boots on the ground reporter Chas Sisk of The Tennessean.
Then it’s Friday, so let’s wrap up the week that was in campaign politics and get ready for Super Tuesday with two California political insiders. Nancy McFadden, she’s one of California Governor Jerry Brown’s top advisers, and Rob Stutzman, communications director for former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Tune into “The War Room with Jennifer Granholm” on Current TV at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. Tune in and pass it on!
