Former Republican U.S. Congressman J.D. Hayworth joined Jennifer in ‘The War Room.’ Hayworth served Arizona’s 5th congressional district from 1995 to 2007. He went on from there to the world of conservative talk radio, hosting an afternoon program in Phoenix. He resigned in 2010 in order to run as a more conservative alternative to John McCain in the Arizona Senate Primary. Last month, Hayworth began hosting a morning show on KSFO in San Francisco.

Jennifer was also joined by Jason Furman, an economist and Deputy Director of President Obama’s National Economic Council. Furman specializes in taxes, health care and social security. He shed some insight on Obama’s corporate tax plan.

And for more on women in politics, Democratic political strategist Christine Pelosi, daughter of Nancy Pelosi, joined us as well. Pelosi is the author of ‘Campaign Boot Camp,’ a guide for politicians on the art of campaigning.
