‘The War Room’ for
July 5

In this episode of “The War Room,” it’s all about Mitt Romney’s flip-flops, or Mitt’s Flips. From abortion to Vietnam to gay marriage to minimum wage, Romney has repositioned himself more times than, well, someone shaking an Etch A Sketch. Send us flip-flop nominations for our set at Current TV.

In the spirit of flip-flops, we hit the streets of San Francisco for our Web exclusive to see if politicians have tainted the image of summer’s most coveted footwear: the flip-flop.

Then Cara Santa Maria, senior science correspondent at The Huffington Post, joined Granholm in “The War Room” to discuss how the media should talk about record high temperatures and recent devastating wildfires.

And Congressman Gary Peters (D-Mich.) applauded President Obama for filing a grievance against China with the World Trade Organization. Peters said manufacturing provides a base for an economy built on middle-class jobs.

Tune in to “The War Room with Jennifer Granholm” on Current TV at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
