“We’re going to take note of this incredible double standard,” says Media Matters for America’s Eric Boehlert, calling out the right wing activists who criticize coverage of Romney’s teenage bullying. “These are the same right wing conservative activists who scream and yell that the press never vetted Obama, they never wrote about his youth… But now when the Washington Post writes a completely above board story fully quoted story about Romney’s youth it’s a hit piece. You can’t have it both ways,” he tells Jennifer Granholm in The War Room. “If you’re going to run for president, your youth is going to be reported on. That’s not surprising.”
