Jennifer Granholm and Mother Jones reporter Adam Serwer discuss whether a new slate of anti-Obama ads funded by businessman Sheldon Adelson will have an effect on Jewish votes in swing states. The ads suggest that Obama has not been supportive enough of Israel. But Serwer says Adelson is wasting his money: “American Jews have a culture and history of being devoted to social issues and justice. … They’re not going to simply decide to vote for a Republican just because of Israel. There are other things that they care about.”
