Al Gore predicts that the 2012 election will be close, since the U.S. is so evenly divided on so many issues. Gore says that one of Obama’s strengths is being personal. “I think that President Obama is a tremendously thoughtful person, a very smart person,” Gore says, “I would urge him to take the time to write out his own personal argument for the choice that he wants the people to make,” taking the opportunity to crystalize support by inspiring people.
