It’s tea party versus tea party, little old ladies on Medicaid sipping a cuppa or money in the pockets of the rich: That’s the choice voters face in November. Mitt Romney has embraced Paul Ryan’s budget, which guts Medicaid funding but distributes an extra $3 trillion to the wealthiest Americans. Jennifer Granholm says, “It’s a reverse Robin Hood. Stealing from the poor to give to the rich.” If Romney is elected, Granholm tells voters, expect poor and middle-class Americans to lose out.
